Bangkok Chain International (Lao) Co., Ltd. has invested in the construction of a US$40 million private hospital in Vientiane Capital. The hospital was designed to be constructed in two phases.
Phase 2 will be an expansion phase, which will comprise of:
Wards and carpark building (12-storey to include additional OPD, 29 consultation rooms, 6 wards (144 beds) and parking spaces for 456 vehicles)
LCG was contract to carry out the construction supervision of Phase 1.
Phase 1 comprised of the following construction work scope:
- Backfill of land totalling 19,160m2.
- Construction of 7-storey Main Building totalling 29,195m2 to house the Out Patients Department (OPD), 38 consultation rooms, 4 dentists’ rooms, emergency section, radiology section, heart section, rehabilitation centre, operating rooms, and maternity ward. The building will have a total of 96 patient beds.
- Back House Building for cleaning and maintenance, pump and storage and wastewater treatment totalling 2,623m2.
- Staff dormitory (5-storey building, totalling 2,756m2 with 69 rooms)
